Shemu Group is a fast conglomerate company composed of Shemu PLC, Asveza PLC and other functional private limited companies with a fast growth track record. The Companies in the group engaged in manufacturing (liquid soap, bar soap, Edible oil and shortening products), retail service providing, printing, trading and engineering. Based on this our corporate office want to hire competent, energetic, enthusiastic and capable applicants for the post of Local Purchaser we have.

Responsibility

The Local Purchaser reports to Procurement Division Manager of the Company and expected to organize and perform all local purchase activities of the company. He/She is expected to lead all local purchasing activities of the company. Moreover that, his/her duties include;

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from Suppliers
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Review quality of purchased products
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on Purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed


Requirement


  • B.A. Degree in logistics and supply chain Management, management, business management, accounting or related business fields with a minimum 2 years direct experience in similar position.

  Additional soft and hard skills

  • Preferable if engaged in manufacturing factories

  • Critical thinking, commitment to production

  • Responsibility, risk awareness, decision making ability, strong technical and problem-solving skills

  • Basic computer knowledge emphasis on ERP Microsoft Dynamics Navigation use
